Let's talk cosmetics.

A lot of people have asked me to do a post about what types of makeup and hair care I use. So here you go!

Honestly, I'm a much bigger fashion connoisseur than I am a makeup lover. I usually keep it natural, though I love some big cat eyeliner now and then.

I wear daily:

-A bit of Revlon PhotoReady foundation as under-eye concealer, and to cover any blemishes, but I don't use it as base.

-Cover Girl blush. I always pick soft rose colors because I'm not a fan of reds or oranges.

-Almay eyeshadow in wine colors. I only wear earth/wine tones when it comes to eyeshadow. Bright colors tend to feel tacky to me. I have also never been a fan of matching your eyeshadow to whatever color your clothing is, seems a bit silly to me. I use a soft brush for applying eyeshadow.

-Eyeliner. Either liquid eyeliner on the upper lid for cat-like eyeliner, or cheap black eye pencil that doesn't smudge on upper and lower lids. Not too heavy, not too light.

-Mascara. I don't really need it because my eyelashes are ultra-long but I like the WOW effect it gives them. I'm currently using Avon dark black mascara.


-When it comes to hair, I'm pretty natural too. I wash it every other day and it has never been dyed. Dark brown is my natural color and it is naturally wavy. I currently have straight across bangs, but I used to have a heavy side part. I like my hair long and I am always trying to grow it out. I do keep very very short layers at the top though, for extra volume. I love volume! I don't use any product and I just blow-dry and straighten any crazy curls I have a bit to settle them down. A bit of hairspray to hold the volume and voila!

PS: I rarely straighten my hair. Maybe maybe maybe once a month? Straight hair is too flat for me! And it damages your hair!
